Hi Everyone!

Beginner here looking for a little guidance. I am working on a project that calls for a coat with embedded LEDs to “freeze” and “thaw”. I was thinking I would make them as two patterns. One that starts with the 2D plane in black and fills with blue as it freezes and a second that begins as blue and fills from the center with an orange circle.

I’ve been trying to use samples of code from a few other programs and got somewhat close but not quite where I want it to be. I’ve attached what I have below. The issue I’m having with it is that the outside edges of the plane start out blue so it’s more like a black ring moving through rather than a blue circle expanding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I wonder if it wouldn’t be simpler to use `triangle` or `wave` as a control value instead of two different patterns. Maybe even as an ambient temperature if you’re using physical models
