The back of this jacket holds an assembly of 3D printed diffusers with an LED string hot glued in place behind them. Pixelblaze 2D mapped patterns really give it the perfect finishing touch!

This looks so clean, I love it!

For the 3d printed pieces, did you print them in TPU filament so that it has some flex, or are they rigid?

Thank you! The pieces are rigid (PETG) but the assembly of all diffusers is printed on mesh and covered with faux leather so the whole assembly flexes reasonably well.

Ah, I haven’t tried to print on mesh yet, but it seems like such a great technique for stuff like this.

You can do some really fun things with the technique, and it’s surprisingly easy to execute. Definitely worth playing around with.
