# Lux Lavalier battery okay to use 14505?

I have some 14505 batteries, apparently they’re identical the the 14500 recommended but have a voltage of 4.2V instead of 3.7V. Would it be okay to use this with the Lux Lavalier? I assume so since the pico is capable of handling 5V.

The fully charged voltage for “3.7” lithium type batteries is 4.2v.  
You are totally fine, and probably have the same kind of battery. 14500 is the physical size specification.
