# Pass Through Battery Charging

I just purchased a Pixel Blaze V3 for a new wearable project I’m working on. This will have the PCB enclosed in a structure, powered by a lipoly battery. So there will not be an opportunity to remove and replace the battery for recharging. I was hoping that the USB would have pass through charging of the battery but I guess it does not. I typically use an Adafruit Feather PCB for my projects, which does have pass through charging.

So is there a way to achieve what I need? I read some posts about the LilliPo but I don’t understand what that does exactly. Also, I’ve used an Adafruit LiPoly Backpack [https://www.adafruit.com/product/2124](https://www.adafruit.com/product/2124) for other projects which worked well but I’m not sure how to wire that up with the PBv3. Any help is much appreciated!
