We’ve definitely chatted about this is person before.
The Leader/Follower functionality has been amazing for my eclectic collection of wearables and art pieces.

The problem I have is that I frequently mix and match my things, meaning I frequently have to reconfigure WiFi connections and Leaders.
This is tedious enough that I usually end up not even bothering with it.

Also, at festivals, where I frequently leave my camp, I have to choose if I want my wearables to sync with camp or with each other.

Having a priority list of WiFI networks and Leaders would eliminate the need to constantly reconfigure my PBs.
It would allow my PBs to passively sync with my camp when I return.
It would even allow me to passively sync up to different camps, as I visit them (since I’m involved and set up lights for several).

An advanced version of this would allow for anyone to connect their PB to any camps light set up think of the dance parties!!! 🤩

- Have a default WiFi network baked in to the PB (i.e.: SSID: pixelbalze password: pixelblaze) that is the lowest priority
- Have the ability to give each PB a numeric “Leader priority” value. Set your own PBs to a low/medium priority, and larger installations to a higher priority

Workarounds I’ve tried or considered:

- Use a phone hotspot as the WiFi AP (by setting it have the same SSID and password as every other network)

- Use a travel router

- Have multiple PBs “leaders” with the same name
