Advance playlist with a button?

Would it be possible to use a button attached to the PB XL to advance the playlist? I’m going to have multiple units connected over Wifi, and I want one unit (the leader) to have the user be able to just push a button to go to the next pattern over all of them. I don’t see anything in the code about that - is it possible?

Yes – a button wired to the PixelBlaze does the same thing as pressing the on-board physical button on the PixelBlaze.

Thanks. What if I don’t want to do the other things the button does, like reset if it’s pushed for 5s? Also, what if I want to add another button that goes to the previous playlist item?

Also, the docs say “Pixelblaze Standard (not the Pico) provides solder pads on the back labeled GND and BTN.”, but I do see pads on the back of the Pico labeled GND and BTN. Is the documentation out of date there?
