Has anyone heard of any HDR RGBW LEDs? I’m hoping to find something or someway to get nicer white than mixing RGB while still having the ability to do colors and avoid flicker and banding when operating in the dim part of the brightness range. I think my dream would be something like an SK9822 but with RGBW. I tried searching here and googling but haven’t found anything myself. Thanks!
I haven’t found those either, but one hack if it’s worth it is that you could alternate all-white APA102s and RGB SK9822s in the same strip. I’d reach out to Gree, Shiji, or Normand - they might have a minimum order size though.
They can custom manufacture strips like that? Cool! Maybe they could even alternate Cold/Warm/Amber White and RGB.
