Auto-save while editing patterns

It seems silly, but the number of times I took auto-saving for granted and lost my progress when the PB reset / lost power is a little embarrassing.

And maybe for mapper too?

I agree with both of these. Currently it seems I can only save when the map is good or when the pattern code does not have any errors. It would be sometimes helpful to force a save even if there is an error present, or to have some kind of automatic save feature. Iā€™d be happy with a manual save (with errors) if this was the simpler option.
