From what I am seeing on my PB unit and what I have read so far, I believe the native button on the v3 changes the pattern to another pattern in a “semi random” order. Can this behavior be changed so that it advances to the next pattern in the order the playlist is actually built? If not for the native button, can it be coded for a new button attached to a GPIO? Thanks.

Yes, if you have a playlist set up and have it in playlist mode, the button will advance to the next item in the list, in the order you specify.
