When changing patterns manually, the current pattern cuts short, everything freezes for a fraction of second and the selected pattern starts. It’s pretty visible (too visible to run a festival stage for example).
The best workaround i’ve found so far is to make a playlist, so the pattern fades to back before the next one starts, and it goes smoothly.
However, there is no way to trigger manually the transition:
- If you click on “next”, it’s the same as selecting a new pattern (harsh transition)
- If you modify the timer of the current pattern (for example from 200s to 20s to trigger the “smooth transition”, it restarts the current pattern like you were clicking on it (with the correct timer, but it creates a harsh transition as well).
I think it would be great to be able to setup a smooth fade even when clicking manually on a pattern.
