Pico V3 + Sensorboard ( or other audio solutions )

Hey hey all,

I think i know the answer but seeing as cant find direct answer. Is it possible to use the sensor board with the most recent pico ? I think the answer is no.

TL;DR - doing a hat with pixel blaze

Other options

  • dont use pico ( would be nice to save a bit of space hence question )
  • use pico in hat, then normal pixelblaze + sensor board close by and sync them

Any other neat solutions like a different sound board i can use.

Useful info i will have 3v and 5v in the hat as just going to use something like this for power

thankssssss

Hey! On the GPIO docs page (should probably be on the Sensor Board page as well), it says:

“The Pico’s underside copper pads labeled R, 3 and G (RX, 3.3 V, and Ground) can be connected to the Pixelblaze Sensor Board“

Aww amazing i did check that page but for some reason i think i read that as ‘output expander’ not sensor board :joy:

New Pico (with 6-axis) V3 and sensor board…I’ve done it and it definitely works!
