I just got my pv3 and hooked up 1m of ws2812 and when I plugged it in I got nothing. No lights on the board, nothing. I double checked my wiring, checked for shorts, tried a different power supply, wire, strip, and still no joy. Pressing the button doesn’t do anything, the board doesn’t get warm or anything. Am i missing something?
Have a meter handy to check for 5V, and 3.3V on the 3V round pad on the underside? If you post some photos I can help eyeball connections.
I should have triple checked everything… The header i had soldered onto the pico had a ground pin that wasn’t fully seated. I truly thought I had given myself brain damage or something. The panic of the impending burn must have gotten into my head. It’s working just fine now. Just need to learn how to tell it what to do…
