Inspired by @wizard 's “Beautiful Box” build, I turned an Adafruit 8x8 APA102 LED matrix into a pendant with a 3D printed bezel that holds a piece of LED acrylic a few mm in front of the matrix plus a behind-the-neck battery holder.

that looks really cool! it does bring to mind a question about whats out there in terms of “wearable” wire, with a nice looking and/or comfortable insulation sleeve that would be great for those types of projects
I use those wire (26 AWG silicone covered stranded wire) for wearables all the time and it works quite well. It’s obviously not as sturdy as a typical metal chain, but it handles being worn quite well.
