Hi! I have the PB v3 and am making a wearable vest. Just got all the lights attached to the vest and I want to start mapping using my Macbook Pro instead of my Samsung phone. I have been using my phone to play with the patterns with no problems, but don’t want to do the mapping on my phone.
Pixelblaze is currently connected to stable power, orange LED is constant, and when I open the discover page on my phone, it has no problem finding the PB and then opening the connection to change patterns. On my Macbook, the discovery service shows the PB being active:
Safari shows the same thing on discovery, but is just stuck on a white screen trying to load the page. I’m an engineer but not normally with electrons and coding so I’m definitely outside my wheelhouse. Thanks for any help!
An update, I haven’t figured out the issue yet. Shortly after this post, the PB stopped working with my phone as well. Not sure why. Tried to reset the wifi, troubleshoot, no avail. I have a second new PB so I decided to see if that one would work. Got the wifi set up on it and it works on my phone no problem, tried again on the computer and have the same issues. But PB2 did work on my phone, so that’s another data point.
Now back to PB1, I plugged it back in and it went right into setup mode so I set the wifi, this time using my computer directly. That worked no problem. Discover page shows PB1 as active, but alas, same issue with not working on the macbook. Checked on phone and it works there again now. Hmm.
This leads me to believe the issue is something about my browsers or computer that is keeping it from working normally on the Macbook. Any help from @wizard would be appreciated!
