Rebuilding an old project

Hey all, I am new here.
I have an old project/installation called the “Eye of the Illuminati”.
This project was a pyramid with around 2000 addressable LED’s.
I used a “Pixel Pusher” to drive the LED’s and set up WiFi LAN to communicate with the driver. An Ipad was used to communicate with the Pixel Pusher. It all ran on 5 volt using 12v-5v converters. The pixel pusher was run at 120V AC using an inverter.
Anyway, sadly to say, all the infrastructure of the project was stolen out of a warehouse in SC.
The batteries (9x12V), the legs, the pixel pusher, the inverter and power supply, all the wires etc. you get the point.
I still have the 2000 LED’s (strip form) and they are still attached to the pyramidal sides. I used aluminum conduit with frosted covering to give a kinda neon look.
I would like to get the project operating again and I have been looking at the pixelblaze controllers and wondering if they could do the job.
I would like to start with just one and see how I can work with it and then expand.
I am an Iphone user or Ipad.
I am looking for what I should get to practice and also what kihd of power supply I would need?
I apprectiate any feedback.
I am not sure how to add a video but I will try to send a few pictures.

Thanks
