The first hack is from a lamp called SKYMNINGEN. It is composed of white plastic wings on a central stem. I removed the main lamp (E27) and replaced it by two alu wound spirals with rgb strips. I wrapped them in a thin tissue (white felt) to get a better color diffusion. The low-q video shows only partially the nice glow reflecting from the white wings.
The second hack is from a wimsy lamp called KRUSNING, made of hand-wrapped paper sheets. Older hack videos show how to paint the sheets. I thought it a better idea to use rgb. The sheets are tightened within two plastic rings. I did not use that ring. Instead i attached a spiral with the rgb leds and the sheets are more or less hanging on it, with some space in between so the light can get thru.
Enjoy the videos.
