So what does it do? It takes 5V 3 wire signal (which is ws2812, 5V,G,Data) allows you to add more.power (via SATA cable), and then replicates the signal to all of the other connected ports.
So you want to run 10 strings of leds, all the same? Yes, you could just fork the data line into 10 parts, add voltage.and be done… But for the price, this will do it cheaply. Meant for PC motherboards/fans/stripes/etc.
Limited use (I’d want 10 strips each independent) but… Neat to know it exists.
